M. Hennigan Held Wednesday Funeral services for Jim M. Hennigan, 93, of near Calvin who died at 9 a.m. Tuesday, July 20, 1965 in a Winnfield nursing home after a long illness, were held in the chapel of the Southern Funeral Home at 3 p.m. Wednesday with Rev. T. E. Williams and Rev. D. L. Callendar officiating. Burial was in the Sanders Chapel Cemetery near Calvin. He was a native of Bienville, and the son of the late John and Melissa Lowe Hennigan, pioneer Bienville Parish settlers and civic leaders. He was a member of the Calvin Baptist Church and a retired farmer. Survivors include two sons, Shelby Hennigan of Baton Rouge, and Ernest Hennigan of Calvin; and one daughter, Mrs. Sam Beech of Hazelhurst, Miss.; one brother, Aaron Hennigan of Bienville; one sister, Mrs. Alice Milam of Shreveport; and 14 grandchildren.
