"GRANDMA" J.T. HENNIGAN DIES SUNDAY, NOV. 2

Well-Known Ward Eight Citizen Passes Away

Mrs. J.T. [John Thomas] Hennigan, "Grandma", age 92, a resident of the
Bethlehem community, died Saturday night, November 2, following an illness of
several weeks.

Mrs. Hennigan was born in Bienville parish September 10, 1848. For the past
fifteen years she has made her home with her daughter, Mrs. F.M. Dodson. She
has been a member of the Baptist Church since girlhood.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock, with Rev. C.E.
Arrington of Dry Prong and Rev. Noah Fox, pastor, officiating.

Surviving Mrs. Hennigan are six children, Mrs. F.M. Dodson, Winnfield, La.,
Mrs. D.C. Milam, Monroe, La., J.M. Hennigan, Calvin, La., A.R. Hennigan,
Bienville, La., and L.D. Hennigan, California; thirty-four grandchildren,
sixty-eight great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
