D. J. Herndon, 81, Of Jordan Hill, Died On Tuesday

David Jefferson Herndon, 81, a resident of Jordan Hill Community for the past
11 years, died at his home Tuesday evening after a lengthy illness.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Herndon
residence at Jordan Hill and interment followed in the Jordan Hill Cemetery,
Rev. D. Breithaupt of Urania conducting the final rites.

Mr. Herndon was a member of the Christian Church.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Betty Herndon

Hixson Brothers Funeral Home was in charge of the funeral services.
