Brother Of Area Resident Dies In Shreveport

Funeral services for Rufus C. "Bill" Heyse, 63, of Jonesboro were held
Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Fellowship Baptist Church near Jonesboro with the
Revs. R. P. Willis and W. C. Pardue officiating.

Burial was in the Fellowship Cemetery.

Mr. Heyse died Tuesday, May 15, 1973 at a Shreveport hospital following a
lengthy illness.

He was a groundskeeper at the Hodge Country Club and a native of Jonesboro.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Eloise Colliston, San Diego, Calif., and
Mrs. Shirley Caskey, Jonesboro; two brothers, W. C. Heyse, Quitman, and Curtis
Heyse, Dodson; three sisters, Mrs. Debbie Byrd, Bentley, Mrs. Effie Jordan and
Mrs. Rose Flurry, both of Jonesboro; 20 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
