THE WINNFIELD-NEWS AMERICAN Friday, March 18, 1938 Funeral Services For Harvey H. Hyde Held Saturday P.M. Former Resident of Winnfield Dies Suddenly In Missouri Funeral services for Harvey H. Hyde, age 47, of Alexandria, who died suddenly in Jackson, Mo. of a heart attack Thursday night of last week, were held at the First Methodist church here Saturday afternoon at four o'clock. Rev. G. A. Morgan, pastor, was assisted in the services by Dr. B.C. Land, pastor of the First Baptist church. Interment was in the Winnfield cemetery under the direction of Walsh Funeral Home. Mr. Hyde was the son of the late N. M. Hyde and lived with his parents in Winnfield during his boyhood and early manhood. He is survived by two daughters, Lois and Eloise Hyde of Alexandria; two sisters, Mrs. W. C. Colvin of Winnfield and Mrs. L. Dow Wardlow of Montgomery, La.; and eight brothers, E. Q. Hyde, B. W. Hyde, and O. E. Hyde, all of Monroe; A. R. Hyde of Longleaf, R. C. Hyde of Winnfield, C. M. Hyde of Dallas, C. L. Hyde of Harlingen, Texas, and W. F. Hyde of Shreveport.
