Funeral Services Held On Sunday For Arthur Hicks

Arthur K. Hicks, 69, was buried Sunday following his death in a local hospital
Saturday, August 30, 1952.  Funeral services were held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in
the home of Mrs. R. W. Tugwell, with Rev. Alwin Stokes officiating.

Mr. Hicks, a native of Texas, was a member of the Presbyterian Church.  Burial
was in the Winnfield Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home.

He is survived by one sister, Miss Winnie Hicks, of Winnfield.

Pallbearers were Clifford Long, Earl Applewhite, J. M. Breedlove, Louis
Sholars, Duffy Hoffman, and Morris Wood.
