Mrs. Sallie Hickman Dies At Her Home At Crews On Sunday

Mrs. Sallie Hickman, wife of O. H. Hickman, died following a lingering illness
at her home at Crews last Sunday evening.  Funeral services were held Monday
afternoon at three o'clock at the New Salem Church with interment in the
church cemetery.  The Rev. Lula Wardlow of Montgomery conducted the rites
assisted by the Rev. J. A. Jones.

Mrs. Hickman was 61 years of age, and a member of the Baptist Church,
having accepted that faith when a young girl.

She is survived by her husband, O. H. Hickman, two sons, Loyd Hickman of
Baltimore, Md., and Sam Hickman of Crews; four daughters, Mrs. Ethel Hinckly
of Erath, Mrs. Lee Reynolds of Pineville, Mrs. Homer Benson of Crews, and Mrs.
Hazel Page of Montgomery; one sister, Mrs. Mattie Christy of Pineville.
