T. Tucker Held Funeral services for Miss Mary Hickman, of Alexandria, who died in a Winnfield clinic Monday, March 6, 1950, after a brief illness were held in the St. Francis Xavier Cathedral, Alexandria, Tuesday, March 7, with burial in Greenwood Park. Miss Hickman, when stricken, was brought to a local clinic by her sister, Mrs. R. T. Tucker of Winnfield. She had often visited here and had a host of friends in Winnfield who regret her passing. Miss Hickman was the daughter of the late Charles Dennis Hickman and Effie Baillio Hickman, prominent families of Rapides Parish. Besides Mrs. Tucker of Winnfield she is survived by two other sisters, Miss Ethel Hickman and Miss Ella Hickman, both of New Orleans; five brothers, George Hamilton Hickman of San Francisco, Calif.; Charles D. Hickman of Odra, La., Converse Hickman of Alexandria, Robert Luckman Hickman of Alexandria, and Hugh Hickman of Boyce.
