Lloyd Sowers officiating, assisted by Rev. Franklin Pearce and Rev. Elton Gunter. Burial was in Transport Cemetery near Dodson. Mr. Hill died Saturday, April 17, 1976 at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Alexandria after a lengthy illness. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War, a member of the Baptist Church, and a member of the Order of Railroad Telegraphers. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Goldie K. Hill of Dodson; one son, Billy James Hill of Dodson; two daughters, Mrs. Brenda Brewer and Miss Janice Hill, both of Dodson; one half-brother, James C. Thomason of Jonesboro, and one granddaughter, Chelita Lea Brewer.
