Hinton of Sikes Claimed By Death Sept. 15 Funeral services for L. B. Hinton, 75, who died at his home near Sikes, Monday night, September 15, 1952, after a long illness, were held at the Hebron Baptist Church Wednesday, with Rev. John Kitchingham officiating. Burial was in Hebron Cemetery. The Hebron Masonic organization (Rosemary Lodge) organization had charge of the grave services. A prominent resident of Ward Three, Mr. Hinton was active in the work of the Baptist Church and of the Masonic order until his health failed. He is survived by his wife and the following children: Mrs. David Fox, Baskin; Mrs. B. E. Thigpen, Sikes; Mrs. H. G. Hudson, West Monroe; Mrs. Jene Hembershott, Houston, Texas; J. H. Hinton, Alexandria; Mrs. Amos Black, Grayson; Mrs. Francis Siever, Dallas, Texas; and Ross Hinton, West Monroe. He also leaves two brothers, Dewey of Monroe and Grady of Urania, and two sisters, one of Texas, and Mrs. Peyton Myers of Sikes; twenty grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
