Father of Hirsch Brothers Dies In Alexandria Monday

Harry Hirsch, Sr., 73, father of Dr. Julian F. Hirsch and Harry F. Hirsch,
Jr., both of Winnfield, died of a heart attack in Baptist Hospital,
Alexandria, Monday at 1:50 a.m., following a brief illness.

Mr. Hirsch, a well known New Orleans business man, had visited in Winnfield
a week ago Sunday.  While here he became ill, though not seriously, and
entered the hospital at Alexandria for treatment.

Funeral services were held from Tharp-Sontheimer-Tharp, Inc., 4117 South
Claiborne, New Orleans, Wednesday.  Interment was in the New Orleans Cemetery.

Surviving are three sons, Dr. Hirsch, Harry Hirsch, Jr., and Belmont; also a
sister, Mrs. Rosa Hahn of Winnfield.  Harry Hirsch, Jr. is a member of the
staff of Alvin Hahn Insurance Agency, Winnfield.
