Funeral services were conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Beech Creek Church with burial in the church cemetery. Mr. Hinton is survived by his wife of Baton Rouge, the former Annie Mae Collins of Winnfield; a son, Douglas Hinton of Oklahoma City, Okla.; and a daughter, Mrs. Dick Robert of Baton Rouge; three brothers, Floyd Hinton, of Alexandria, Grady T. Hinton and Jerry Ross Hinton, both of Oakdale; two sisters, Mrs. Peyton Meyers of Baton Rouge and Mr. Franer Kellcher of Odessa, Texas; and four grandchildren.
