From: Mrs. J. T. Hinton Succumbs At Home Of Son In Monroe

Burial Was Held At Beech Creek Cemetery Last Saturday

Mrs. Roxie Ann Cheek Hinton, aged 77 years, 9 months and 10 days, died at the
home of her son, Dewey Hinton, in Monroe, on Thursday, June 16, 1939.  She was
the widow of the late J. T. Hinton of Beech Creek, who died January 24, 1939.

The deceased was born September 5, 1861.  She is survived by six sons and two
daughters.  They are F. C. Hinton, Alexandria; Grady Hinton, Olla; Dewey
Hinton, Monroe; Dee Hinton, Start, La.; Lot Hinton and Mrs. Peyton Myers,
Sikes, La.; and Mrs. Fred Kehler, Wichita Falls, Texas.

Funeral services were held last Saturday morning at 10 o'clock with interment
in the Beech Creek Cemetery, Winn Parish.
