Colored Deaths

Helen Mari Hobdy

Funeral services for Helen Marie Hobdy, 18, who died Nov. 21 in a Pineville
hospital, were held Nov. 25 at the Morning Star Baptist Church with the
pastor, Rev. H. Y. Bell, officiating.  Burial was in the Winnfield Colored
Cemetery.

The deceased was the daughter of Murt Hobdy, and was a student at Pinecrest
High School.

Besides her father she is survived by three brothers, Bobby Joe and William
Ray Hobdy, Winnfield, Algean Hobdy, Oakland, Calif.; two sisters, Annie Lee
Page, Houston, and Denia Washington, Winnfield.
