Hodges Is Buried At Zion Cemetery Jan. 6 Mrs. Emma Hodges, 83, native of Winn Parish, died in a Bunkie clinic Tuesday morning. She had resided most of her lifetime at her home near Georgetown until she went to live in Bunkie where two of her daughters make their home. Last rites were conducted at 3 p.m. Wednesday, January 6, in the Zion Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home. She is survived by three sons, James and David Hodges of Winnfield and Ray Hodges of Georgetown; five daughters, Mrs. Voorhies Gauthier, and Mrs. Anthony Roy, both of Bunkie, Mrs. Pinkie Guin of Tullos, Mrs. W. E. Claunche of Grayson, and Mrs. C. H. Schoen of Houston, Texas; four sisters, Mrs. Pinkie Belcher and Mrs. Julia Blackstock of Bakersfield, Calif., Mrs. Sallie Blackstock of Farmerville, La., and Mrs. Ella Balch of Swartz, 18 grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.
