Funeral Rites For Mrs. Arthur Hodges Held

Funeral services for Mrs. Myrtle G. Hodges, 64, were held at 3:00 p.m. Monday
at Yankee Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Richard Hancock and Rev. D. W.
McDaniel officiating.

Burial was in the church cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home of
Winnfield.

Mrs. Hodges died at her residence Saturday, December 16, 1967 after a brief
illness.  She was a native of Calvin and a member of the Yankee Springs
Baptist Church.

Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Louis Webb, of Goldonna; three brothers, Ellis
Griffin and Odie Griffin of Winnfield and Lee Griffin of Arkansas; a sister,
Mrs. Mattie Higgs of Winnfield; three grandchildren and four great
grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Glenn Griffin, Adolph Griffin, Jimmy Griffin, J. A. Higgs,
Roy Griffin, Leslie Griffin.
