Sister of Local Residents Dies In Bunkie

Mrs. Jessie Mae Holston, 82, of Evergreen, died at 1:30 a.m. Sunday, July 15,
1973 in a Bunkie hospital.

She is survived by her husband, Steve Holston of Evergreen; three sons, Elmo
Holston, Burton Holston, and Calvin Holston, all of Evergreen; a daughter,
Mrs. Addie Bamburg of Coushatta; a brother, J. W. Blackstock of Winnfield; a
sister, Mrs. Nora Cannon of Winnfield; and four grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday in the chapel of Hixson Brothers
Funeral Home in Bunkie.  Burial was in Bayou Rouge Cemetery at Evergreen.
