Holland, 64, Winn merchant, died at 11:50 a.m. May 20, at Winnfield General Hospital, following a long illness. Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 21, in the Atlanta Methodist Church. Officiating were Rev. Dell Durand, Rev. Elmer Malone, Rev. Wayne Toms, and Rev. Fred Campbell. Interment followed in the Atlanta Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home. Mr. Holland was a native of Colfax and owned a grocery store in Joyce for the past several years. He was a member of the Atlanta Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Otis Holland of Joyce; one daughter, Mrs. Larry Miller of Lawton; three sisters, Miss Effie Holland, Winnfield; Mrs. Annie Rai Shaw of Atlanta, and Mrs. Ara Johnson of Alameda, Calif.; and two grandchildren. Pallbearers were O. C. Jordan, Buddy Shaw, L W. Ferguson, Ezel Parker, Jr., Willard Shaw, Johnnie Stroud, and John Riley.
