Mrs. Oscar Holmes Of Urania Is Buried At Beech Creek Sunday

Funeral services for Mrs. Oscar Holmes, 52 years of age, native of Winn
Parish, who died at her home in Urania, Saturday, August 22, 1936, were held
at the Beech Creek Church Sunday, with interment in the Beech Creek Cemetery. 
The Rev. Autrey had charge of the services.

Mrs. Holmes had been in ill health for some time.  Before her marriage she was
Miss Sallie Curry.

Surviving are her husband, Oscar Holmes, of Urania; two daughters, Mrs. Lessie
Mercer of Curry and Mrs. Era Blake of Urania; two sons, Grady and Clayton of
Urania; one sister, Mrs. Eliza White; and three brothers, Jack Curry of
Pineville, Sid Curry of El Dorado, Ark., and Zack Curry of Curry Community.
