Marvin Horne, 82, Succumbs; Rites Dec. 27

Funeral services were held Thursday at 2 p.m. for Marvin Earl Horne, 82, of
Atlanta, at the Atlanta Baptist Church with the Rev. Ray Teal officiating.

Burial was in the church cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home of
Winnfield.

Mr. Horne died Tuesday night, December 25, 1973 at the Veterans Administration
Hospital in Alexandria following a lengthy illness.

He was a retired employee of the Louisiana Department of Highways.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Thelma Horne of Atlanta; two sons, Marvin Horne
and Bobby Horne, both of Atlanta; one brother, Ralph Horne of Georgetown; and
seven grandchildren.
