Services for G. L. Horne, 50, were held at 1 p.m. Friday in Mount Zion
Methodist Church near 
Montgomery.

Burial was in the church cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home in Winnfield.

Mr. Horne died Wednesday, April 18, 1979 at his residence from injuries
suffered in a shooting.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Elaine Horne of Montgomery; two daughters,
Diane Horne and Renee Horne, both of Montgomery; four brothers, Louis Horne of
Ville Platte, Emmett Horne of Shreveport, George Horne of Montgomery, and N.
L. Horne of Baytown, Texas; and two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Rikard of Verda and
Mrs. Charles Bryant of Montgomery.
