A. Love, was seriously burned Thursday morning about nine thirty o'clock when her clothing was ignited from a heating stove by which she was standing to warm. Mrs. Hornsby had been sitting by the stove and it is supposed that she stood up turning her back toward it to warm and the skirt of her dress touching the stove became ignited and soon burst into flames spreading over her entire body. Her screams brought her daughter, Mrs. Love, to her at once who dragged her into an adjoining room where she tood the covers from a bed wrapping them around her to extinguish the flames. A physician was summoned, the wounds dressed, and at noon Thursday Mrs. Hornsby was resting better. Her burns, while serious are not considered critical. Mrs. Hornsby who makes her home with Mr. and Mrs. S. A. Love is about 80 years old.
