Allen Houston

Allen Houston, 68, colored resident of the T & G Quarters, died in a Pineville
hospital Feb. 28.  Funeral services were conducted at Pilgrim Rest Baptist
Church Tuesday, with the pastor, Rev. H. P. Jenkins, officiating.  Burial was
in the Atlanta Colored Cemetery.

Surviving are two daughters, Corrine Henry, Winnfield, and Pinkie Hubbard,
Atlanta; three sons, Alvin of Atlanta, A. D. of Shreveport, and Rufus of
Houston; five sisters, three brothers, and a step mother.
