Funeral services were held at 5 p.m. Saturday afternoon with the Rev. N. E. Joiner, pastor of the Minden Methodist Church officiating. Interment was in the Minden Cemetery. Mrs. Howell formerly resided in Winnfield and is well known in this parish. She is a niece of Mr. P. K. Abel. Surviving are two daughters, Ann, of Baton Rouge, and Elizabeth Abel, of Minden; one brother, J. Morris Teddlie, agent for the Missouri-Pacific railway; and two sisters, Mrs. Willie Carey of Northville, Ark., and Mrs. Onie Breithaupt, of Alexandria.
