Nursing Home in Alexandria, LA. He was a private in the Antitank Co. 422nd Infantry with the U.S. Army. He was a WWII veteran of the Battle of the Bulge and a POW in Germany. He was a member of The American Legion Dept. La. Post 0401. Clyde Tyson Howard was born Nov. 28 1918 in Olla, LA. He is preceded in death by 3 grandchildren. He is survived by his wife: Loretta Speed Howard of Winnfield; four daughters: Joyce Elaine O'Kuniewicz of New Jersey, Linda Barton, Debbie Kay Moffett and Donna Ann Corbett all of Winnfield LA.; three sons: Clyde Tyson Howard Jr. of Brooklyn New York, Kenneth Earl Howard of Winnfield, LA. and Ronald Howard of Jeffersonville, Indiana. 20 Grandchildren, 26 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great Great Grandchildren and also 3 Sisters. Military graveside services will be 2PM Tuesday, June 1, 2004 at Chickasaw Cemetery near Olla. under the direction of Southern Funeral Home, with Brother Ronald Howard officiating. Friends may visit in the funeral home on Monday, May 31, 2004 from 5PM until 9PM and on Tuesday at the funeral home from 8AM until 1PM.
