Howe, who died March 20, were held at the Zion Hill Church March 22, at 2 p.m. Rev. Smith of Calvin conducted the rites that were concluded with interment in the Zion Hill Cemetery. Mr. Howe was 57 years old and was born in Missouri, but moved from there when a young man. He had a business in Vicksburg, Miss., and Monroe but lived in Cotton Valley when he died. He leaves to mourn him his wife, Mary Upton Howe, one son, Earl, 12 years, and one daughter, Mary Alice, 13 years old. The family expresses their sincere appreciation to all who helped during his illness.
