Lingering Illness Terminates in Death of Dodson Woman

Death came to Mrs. Sallie Howell at her home Thursday morning at 11 o'clock,
ending a lingering illness. Mrs. Howell was about 70 years of age.

Funeral rites were conducted by Rev. Alwin S. Stokes of Winnfield at one
o'clock Friday afternoon. Interment was in the Siloam cemetery of Jackson Parish.

Mrs. Howell is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Dottie Snider of Winnfield and
Mrs. Pearl Howell of Dodson; three sons, J. E. Howell, Dan Howell, and Will
Howell, all of Dodson.
