Mother Of Local Resident Dies October 12

Mrs. Almeda Edwards Hudson, age 86, died October 12, 1976 at her home at 316
S. 8th Street, West Monroe, La.  Mrs. Hudson was the mother of Mrs. Lena Bowie
of 609 Thomas Street, Winnfield, and grandmother of Mrs. Carrie Lee Harris,
Winnfield.

Funeral services were held at Piney Grove Baptist Church, West Monroe, La.,
with Rev. P. Rayfield Brown III and Rev. Charles McGhee, pastor.

Surviving her is one sister, Mrs. Laura Washington of San Francisco, Calif;
one granddaughter, Mrs. Mrs. Carrie Lee Harris; one great granddaughter, Mrs.
Gwendolyn Vincent; several nieces and nephews.
