Mrs. F. P. Hudson, Sister of Winnfield Residents, Dies

Mrs. N. L. Horton and Mrs. Esther Chandler accompanied by Woodrow Chandler
were called to Bruni, Texas, last Friday on account of illness and death of
their sister, Mrs. F. P. Hudson.  Mrs. Hudson, who is well known in this
parish, as the former Miss Ida Shows, teacher in the public schools, is a
native of Jackson Parish.  She succumbed March 13.

Funeral services were conducted at Hebron, Jackson Parish, in the family
cemetery, Thursday at 10:30 a.m.

Other sisters surviving are Mrs. Edward Adams, Coushatta, Mrs. M. B. Peevy,
Jonesboro.  She also leaves three brother, S. M. Shows, Mansfield; G. A.
Shows, Bunkie, and J. M. Shows, Jonesboro, and her husband.
