Services for Mrs. Melba Boyett Hughes will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, May 29, 2008 in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers,
Pineville with Reverend Jim Lofton officiating. Burial will be in Boyett Cemetery, Winnfield.

Mrs. Hughes, 82, of Covington, Georgia, formerly of Pineville passed away Monday, May 26, 2008.

Mrs. Hughes was a member of First Baptist Church, Pineville. She was a retired nurse with over 40 years of service with
Baptist Hospital and Rapides Regional Medical Center, Alexandria.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Hughes, Sr.; parents, H. L. and Ida Ingram Boyett.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, James Hughes, Jr. and wife, Gretchen of Covington, GA; grandson, William
James Hughes of Covington, GA.

Friends may call Thursday at Hixson Brothers, Pineville from 12 p.m. until service time.
