Otto Hughes, Jr.

Otto Lloyd Hughes, Jr., 73, a native of Winnfield and a resident of Raceland,
died at 6 a.m. July 2, 2000.

He was cremated.

He was the husband of Anna Lucille Cochran Hughes; and father of Linda Hughes
of Ville Platte, Barbara H. Andrepont of Baton Rouge, Janet H. Tanner of
Oakridge, Tenn., Diane H. Brown of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Rebecca H. Longo
of Saudia Arabia.  He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and four great
grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Otto and Laura Boyette Hughes; one
brother and one sister.

He was U. S. Marine Corp veteran who served during World War II and a retired
salesman in the marine industry.

Samart Funeral Home and Crematorium, Inc. of Raceland was in charge of
arrangements.
