  Mrs. R. Hughes
  
  Services for Ruth Helen Hughes, 73, of Jonesboro were held at 2 p.m.
  Sunday in Southern Funeral Home Chapel in Jonesboro with the Revs. Odis
  Knapp and Charles Henderson.
  
  Burial was in Beech Springs Cemetery.
  
  Mrs. Hughes died Friday July 11, 1980 in Lincoln General Hospital in
  Ruston after a short illness.
  
  Survivors include one son, James W. Hughes of West Monroe; five
  daughters, Mrs. Gertrude Maxwell of Jonesboro, Mrs. Margie L. Poisso of
  Winnfield, Marie Hughes and Mrs. Alta Sanderson both of Choudrant, and
  Miss Glenda Hughes of West Monroe; two brothers, Ratheal Duck of
  Jonesboro and Grady Duck of Quitman; two sisters, Mrs. Melba Whitten and
  Mrs. Lorraine Wages, both of Quitman, 12 grandchildren and 13 great-
  grandchildren.
