Sister of Late Dan C. Barr Buried at Atlanta January 14

The funeral of Mrs. Martha A. Hunt, 81, of 306 Mitchell Lane in West Monroe,
sister of the late Rev. D. C. Barr, who died in a Monroe hospital Wednesday
after a lingering illness, was held last Thursday at 10 a.m.  Following the
services the body was brought to Atlanta, where the interment took place at
one o'clock.

Pallbearers were G. W. Welch, R. W. Wilbanks, Dr. R. B. Henry, Gregory Warren,
W. A. Lolley, and C. S. Leckey.

Surviving are three daughters and one son, Mrs. Carrie Davis of West Monroe,
principal of the Mitchell School; Mrs. Murrell Womack of Shreveport; Mrs. J.
W. Cunningham of Pleasant Hill, and S. B. Hunt of Monroe.
