D. Wright Pfc. Albert Hyde, Jr., age 24, was reported killed in action in Germany on April 30, according to a message from the War Department to his mother, Mrs. J. D. Wright, on last Saturday. Pfc. Hyde had been in the service about three years, two of which had been spent overseas with the U. S. paratroopers. His service had taken him to all the major European battle fronts. Surviving are his mother, Mrs. J. D. Wright, Winnfield, one sister, Miss Nellie Gray Hyde of San Diego, Calif., and father, Albert Hyde of Alexandria.
