Z. Hyde, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Dishman near Waurika, Texas, July 13, 1926. Before her marriage to Mr. Hyde at Old Montgomery, Louisiana in December, 1875 she was Miss Sarah Sanders and has numerous relatives in this section of the state. Mrs. Hyde united with the Baptist Church 47 years ago and for nearly half a century was a close follower of her Master, living a consistent Christian life. For the past 16 years she has been an invalid confined to her home, bearing her offerings with patience and fortitude. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. W. M. Pope, pastor of the Waurika Methodist Church, and the body was laid to rest in the cemetery there. She leaves her husband, two children, a son, Frank, and a daughter, Mrs. John Dishman. She was related to several families of Winnfield who were grieved to learn of her death.
