Walter F. Hyde, 61, Native of Winn, Dies In Shreveport

Walter F. "Bill" Hyde, 61, an independent oil and real estate man of
Shreveport, died Monday at 3 p.m. in a Shreveport hospital after a long
illness.

He was a native of Winnfield.  He had been a resident of Shreveport for the
past 25 years and was a member of the Broadmoor Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. with burial in Centuries Memorial
Park, Shreveport.

Surviving are his widow; three sons, W. F. Hyde, Jr., Arcadia, Don and Mike
Hyde, Shreveport; one daughter, Miss Bettye Hyde, Shreveport; two brothers, 
C. M. Of Shreveport and Crawford of Houma; one sister, Mrs. W. W. Lolley,
Winnfield; and three grandchildren.
