Funeral For John W. Howell At Cypress Creek

John Willie Howell, Jr., 79, of Dodson, died Monday, April 12, 1971, at his
residence.  He was a retired logger.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Cypress Creek Baptist
Church.  Burial was in the church cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral
Home of Winnfield.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. J. W. Howell of Dodson; one son, Melvin
Howell of Winnfield; one brothers, Dan Howell of Calvin; two sisters, Mrs.
Pearl Frazier of Calvin and Mrs. Anna White of Boyce; 11 grandchildren and 16
great grandchildren.
