Funeral services for Mrs. Nora Bell Howell of Montgomery were held at 2:30
p.m. Sunday in the Hargis Baptist Church.

Burial was in the Hargis Cemetery under direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral
Home of Alexandria.

Mrs. Howell died in an Alexandria hospital Friday night, January 23, 1970.

Survivors include three sons, O. M. Howell of Dubberly, La., Elmore Howell of
Montgomery, and Raymond Howell of Eglin Air Force Base, Fla.; three daughters,
Mrs. Helen Land of Pineville, Mrs. Lorene Doughty of New Orleans, and Mrs.
Laverne Bevill of Montgomery; five brothers, D. F. "Doc" Futrell of Winnfield, 
Homer Futrell of Pollock, Guy Futrell, Don Futrell, and Wiley Futrell, all of
Dry Prong; two sisters, Mrs. Bessie Coleman of Georgetown (only one sister
listed); a daughter in law, Mrs. R. C. Howell of Arcadia, 19 grandchildren and
9 great grandchildren.
