H. Hatten, 73, Winn Native, Dies In Monroe Funeral services for W. Horace Hatten, 73, of Monroe, were held Thursday, March 1, at the Mulhearn Funeral Home chapel with Rev. James H. White officiating. Burial was in Riverview Cemetery. Mr. Hatten died Tuesday, February 27, 1973 at the St. Frances Hospital following a lengthy illness. He was a Winn Parish native having been born and reared in the Hart Community near Sikes, a member of the Trinity Baptist Church, West Monroe Masonic Lodge No. 419 and the Karubah Shrine Club. He was a retired grocer. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ruby Hatten, Monroe; one daughter, Mrs. Lillian Ford, West Monroe; one step son, Miles Sager, Monroe; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Ed Feeney, Monroe, and Mrs. Milton Pickett, Ruston; a sister, Mrs. J. H. Jordan, West Monroe; and 10 grandchildren.
