Winn Native, W. T. Hinton, Dies Saturday

William Thomas Hinton, 71, of West Monroe, died Saturday morning, January 6,
1973 in a Monroe hospital after a short illness.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Sunday in Mulhearn Funeral Home Chapel in
West Monroe with the Rev. Tom Mitchell officiating.

Burial was in the Hasley Cemetery.

A retired mechanic and native of Winn Parish, Mr. Hinton was also a member of
the Baptist Church.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Bessie Hinton of West Monroe; one son, James
Hinton of West Monroe; three brothers, Floyd Hinton of Kelly, Henry Hinton of
Jena, and John L. Hinton of Olla, and one sister, Mrs. Daisy Cotton of Olla;
and two grandchildren.
