Hall Held Sat. Funeral services for Willie Verne Hall, 63, were held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the First Methodist Church with Rev. Richard Walton officiating. He died Thursday, June 1, 1967 in Winnfield. Mr. Hall was a lifelong resident of Winnfield, a home decorator, and a member of the First Methodist Church. He served as manager of the historical section of the Winn Parish Fair Association. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Georgia Hall of Winnfield; a son, James Edward Hall of Huntsville, Ala.; two daughters, Mrs. Hewey Walker and Mrs. J. T. Hanson, both of Winnfield; and a brother, John Robert Hall of Oklahoma City, Ok., and four grandchildren. Burial was in Winnfield Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home, Winnfield. Pallbearers were Eck Bozeman, Leo Sowers, Newton Forrest, Maxwell T. Crowe, Leon Hanson, Jewel Childress. Members of the official board of the First Methodist church were honorary pallbearers.
