Ingram Drowns in Bath Tub Sat. Afternoon The town was shocked Saturday afternoon to learn of the tragic death of Clyde Erwin, Jr., 16 month old son of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Ingram of Center Street. Mrs. Ingram left the little tot and seven year old sister playing in the bathroom while she went out on the back porch to wash some clothes. About 10 minutes later the little girl called ot her mother that the baby was asleep in the tub. The mother rushed into the bathroom and found the baby had drowned, and though every effort possible was made to resuscitate the little one it proved unavailing. The funeral was held Sunday afternoon with interment in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Chestnut.
