Ingle, 108 year old citizen of South Winnfield, were held at Pineville Monday with interment in the National Cemetery. Mr. Ingle died at his home Sunday following a paralytic stroke. The deceased was 108 years old July 5th, 1935. He was born in Indiana July 5, 1827. During his long span of life his health has been remarkable. Until he was stricken a few days before his death he was able to walk two or three miles with comparative ease. He served in the Union army during the entire four years of the Civil War and later served in the regular army. He also fought in the Indian Wars. His father and two brothers lost their lives in the Indian wars. Surviving the deceased are two daughters and three sons.
