Sister of Joyce Resident Dies; Rites Tuesday

Mrs. Alice Neal Ivy, 87, of Dry Prong, died at 12:05 a.m. Monday in Rapides
General Hospital.  She was the widow of Jesse Ivy and a native of LaSalle
Parish.

Survivors include one foster daughter, Mrs. Florine Rice of Dry Prong;
two brothers, bullard Neal of Dry Prong and Fred Neal of Joyce;
three sisters, Mrs. Mattie Tison of Pollock, Ms. Sallie Lasyone of Dry Prong,
and Mrs. Jewel Foster of Urania.

Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers,
Pineville.  Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery.
