Mrs. G. Jones, 50, Succumbs; Rites Held Mon.

Mrs. Edna D. Jones, 50, of Dodson died at 10 a.m. May 23, 1970, in a
Shreveport hospital.

She is survived by her husband, Grady Jones of Dodson; two sons, Grady T.
Jones and John E. Jones, both of Dodson; three daughters, Mrs. Louise Walker
of Hodge, and Mrs. Jewel Jones and Mrs. Jackie Carpenter, both of Dodson; two
brothers, Joe Dees of Dodson and James Dees of Monroe; four sisters, Mrs.
Lillie Walker, Mrs. Beckie Howell, Mrs. Edith Thompson, and Mrs. Alma Heyese,
all of Dodson; and one grandchild.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday in Cypress Creek Baptist Church
with Rev. Louis B. Williams officiating.  Burial was in the church cemetery
under direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.
