Funeral Conducted For "Whitey" Jackson Here On Saturday

Last rites for James A. "Whitey" Jackson, 81, who died here on Friday,
were conducted here at 4:30 p.m. Saturday with Rev. Alwin Stokes, pastor of
the First Presbyterian Church, officiating.  Services were conducted in the
Southern Funeral Home chapel and interment was in the Winnfield Cemetery.

Born in Nashville, Tenn., Mr. Jackson was a resident of Winnfield for 35 years
and was well known in this section.
