Colored Deaths

General Jackson

Services for General Jackson, 66 year old retired railroad worker who lived
east of the turpentine plant will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Mt. Moriah
Church at Chatham.  Burial will be in the church cemetery under direction
of Johnson Funeral Home.

Jackson was fatally knifed last Saturday.

Survivors include his wife, Lizzie.
