Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. October 24 at the Ridgecrest Baptist Church at Greenville, Texas, with the Rev. W. M. Pratt, Jr., and the Rev. George Sagen officiating. Burial was in Memory Park at Greenville. Jimmie Jackson was owner and operator of Jimmie Jackson Mfg. Co. in Greenville for the past 20 years. He came to Winnfield many times in promotion of sales of his products. He was a member of the board of deacons of the Ridgecrest Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, his mother, Mrs. Rena Jackson of Dallas; a daughter, Mrs. Marion Love Nixon of Arlington, Tex.; two brothers, Ray and Troy Jackson, both of Dallas; two sisters, Mrs. Ruby Frazier of Winnfield and Mrs. C. J. McPherson of Dallas. He was an uncle of Mrs. Richard Smart of Winnfield.
