Mrs. E. James, 79, Dies; Interment At Beech Creek

Mrs. Emma Tullos James, 79, of Winnfield, died Sunday afternoon, February 27,
1972 at the Winnfield General Hospital after a lengthy illness.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Southern Funeral
Home with the Rev. Jimmie Yocum officiating.  Burial was in Beech Creek
Cemetery.

Mrs. James was a native of Winn Parish and a member of East Winnfield Baptist
Church.

Survivors include one son, Jesse L. James, Jr., of Winnfield; two daughters,
Mrs. Lorne Welch of New Orleans and Mrs. Clara Belle Pennington of Winnfield;
one brother, Russell Tullos of Winnfield; two sisters, Mrs. B. G. Pasco and
Mrs. Aaron J. McMurry, both of Winnfield; six grandchildren and six great
grandchildren.
