James Dies; Interment At Old Union Mrs. Julia Bell Higdon James, 87, of Columbia, wife of the late Columbus James, died Friday, April 3, 1970, at the Riverside Nursing Home, in Columbia, after a long illness. Mrs. James was a native of Winn Parish. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the chapel of Riser and Son Funeral Home in Columbia. Burial was in the Old Union Cemetery near Joyce. Survivors include one son, Jack S. James of Columbia; one daughter, Mrs. Terrie Jamerson of Hot Springs, Ark.; one sister, Mrs. Bert Weed of Monroe; a sister-in-law, Mrs. G. I. Kelly of Winnfield; six grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
